Awards & Unique Initiatives

Winter Brain offers a wide array of special programs and initiatives that truly make the conference one-of a kind. These include awards, fellowships, and the opportunity to engage with those that call the host city their home.

Travel Fellowships

Applicants must be within 5 years since receipt of Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree at time of application deadline, or be in a program leading to such a degree.

Travel Fellow Mentors

Winter Brain seeks to pair Travel Fellowship awardees with appropriate senior colleagues who can foster a mentorship focused on growth and support of these outstanding young investigators.

School Outreach Program

Are you interested in volunteering at local primary and secondary schools to inform the students and teachers about neuroscience? Do you know of a primary or secondary school that hosts a Brain Awareness Week and/or an International Brain Bee groups?

Brain Talk Town Meeting

The purpose of the Brain Talk Town Meeting is to open a dialogue between scientists and non-scientists.

Poster Awards

Professional Networking

Winter Brain is now providing a networking/social program to meet the needs of Winter Brain participants that are non skiers/snowboarders as well as skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
